Zero-Twist towelling is characterised by loops in the pile that do not twist around themselves. The de-twisting action creates more air and space between the fibres, which yields a fabric that's incredibly plush, fluffy and sumptuously soft to the touch. The increased space between the fibres also aborbs more water, and allows it to evaporate quickly, reducing the time it takes for the towel to dry after use or washing. Only longer staple cotton fibers-with their inherent strength-can be used in contructing low-twist yarns. Zero-Twist cotton is good for the environment as it takes less cotton to produce, and the fabric dries much faster, saving energy. It is also much softer that regularly twisted fabrics.
